Job Title: Team Manager – Assessment & Family Support Team

Salary: Umbrella/Ltd Rate: £42.17 per hour
Type: Temporary / Full Time

We are seeking an experienced Team Manager to support the Assessment Service in Cambridgeshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced social care professional to provide effective leadership and management within the Assessment Service, with the flexibility to support Family Support and Safeguarding services where required.

What you will do

Team Management & Leadership

• Provide effective leadership and management within the Assessment Service.
• Support the service to manage current workload effectively.
• Provide appropriate oversight and support to practitioners within the team.

Assessment Service

• Support the Assessment Service in delivering effective and timely social work practice.
• Provide management oversight within the assessment function.
• Ensure children and families receive appropriate support and intervention.

Family Support & Safeguarding

• Provide management support to Family Support and Safeguarding services where required.
• Support effective safeguarding practice and decision-making.
• Maintain a strong focus on the needs and welfare of children and families.

Working Arrangements

• The role requires three days per week in the office.
• Office location: Awry House, 110 Ramnath Road, Wisbech, PE13 2JD.
