Job Description
Job Title: Social Worker / Senior Practitioner – Duty Hub

Salary: £25.97 (PAYE) / £33.30 (LTD/Umbrella) Per Hour
Type: Temporary / Full Time
We are seeking experienced Social Workers and Senior Practitioners to join the Duty Hub based in Staffordshire. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy frontline team undertaking initial child and family assessments, Section 47 enquiries, and safeguarding interventions. Working within a restorative practice framework, you will play a key role in protecting children and supporting families through timely assessments and effective multi-agency working.

What You Will Do
- Undertake initial child and family assessments in line with statutory responsibilities.
- Complete Section 47 enquiries and safeguard children where concerns have been identified.
- Assess risk and develop effective plans to improve outcomes for children and families.
- Manage a varied caseload, ensuring work is completed within statutory timescales.
- Build positive working relationships with children, families, carers, and partner agencies.
- Prepare high-quality assessments, reports, and statutory documentation.
- As a Senior Practitioner, provide mentoring and professional support to colleagues while contributing to practice development and service improvement.
