We are seeking experienced Social Workers to join a well-established Children Looked After Team in Knowsley. What You Will Do

Case Management: Manage a diverse caseload involving children and young people within the Children Looked After service.

Care Proceedings: Work with children subject to care proceedings, ensuring timely and effective interventions.

Care Planning and Permanence: Develop and progress care plans, permanence plans, and pathway plans that promote positive long-term outcomes.

Court Work: Prepare high-quality reports for court proceedings and attend court hearings as required.

Multi-Agency Working: Collaborate effectively with legal services, education providers, health professionals, and partner agencies to support children and families.

Assessment and Planning: Undertake comprehensive assessments and develop evidence-based plans that meet the needs of children and young people.

Relationship-Based Practice: Build positive and effective relationships with children, young people, families, and carers to support meaningful change.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
• Experience within Children Looked After services.
• Experience of care proceedings and court work.
• Strong assessment, care planning, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multi-agency environment.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, child-centered social work practice.
