Type: Full Time / Temporary

We are seeking a qualified Social Worker to join a Children & Families service in Essex. This is an opportunity for an experienced social work professional to contribute to the delivery of effective services for children and families within a professional and supportive environment.

The successful candidate will bring strong professional standards, effective communication skills and a commitment to achieving positive outcomes for children and families.

What You Will Do

Social Work Practice: Deliver professional social work services within a Children & Families setting, working in accordance with relevant professional standards and procedures.

Children and Families: Work with children and families to understand their needs and contribute to appropriate support and interventions.

Professional Practice: Maintain accurate records and documentation while ensuring confidentiality and professional standards are upheld.

Collaborative Working: Work effectively with colleagues and relevant partner agencies to support positive outcomes for children and families.

Communication: Build effective professional relationships with children, families, colleagues and other professionals.

What We Are Looking For

  • A qualified Social Worker with a recognized Social Work degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Experience working within Children & Families social work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a professional team.
  • Ability to manage responsibilities effectively and maintain accurate records.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, professional standards and positive outcomes for children and families.
