Job Title: Social Worker – Safeguarding Team

Salary: £33.30 Per Hour
Type: Ongoing / Full Time
We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join a well-established Safeguarding Team based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner with experience in safeguarding, progressing Child Protection Plans, and completing PLO work. What you will do
Safeguarding Practice: Manage complex safeguarding cases involving children and families requiring statutory intervention.
Child Protection: Progress Child Protection Plans effectively, ensuring timely interventions and positive outcomes for children.
PLO Work: Undertake Public Law Outline work, preparing high-quality assessments and reports where required.
Direct Family Engagement: Build positive working relationships with children and families, ensuring their voices and needs remain central to practice.
Multi-Agency Working: Collaborate with partner agencies and professionals to deliver coordinated support and informed decision-making.
Case Management: Effectively manage a reasonable caseload while maintaining high standards of practice and recording.
