Job Title: Senior Practitioner – Children in Care Team

Salary: Up to £33.30 Per Hour
Type: Ongoing / Full Time
We are seeking an experienced Senior Practitioner to join a dedicated Children in Care Team based in Walsall. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive and well-established service that places the wellbeing of children and young people at the heart of everything it does. Working within a relationship-based, restorative practice model, you will help deliver positive outcomes through high-quality care planning, permanency planning, and effective multi-agency working.

What You Will Do
- Hold and manage a caseload of children and young people in care.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with children, and families.
- Undertake statutory visits, assessments, care planning, and permanency planning.
- Support reunification planning where appropriate.
- Apply restorative and relationship-based practice to achieve positive outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies and multidisciplinary professionals.
- Maintain accurate case records and produce high-quality reports within statutory timescales.
