Type: Temporary / Full Time

We are seeking an experienced Family Practitioner to join a District Team based in Staffordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated practitioner to work directly with children, young people, and their families, delivering high-quality interventions that promote stability, strengthen family relationships, and improve outcomes. You will work within a restorative practice framework, supporting children to remain safely within their families wherever possible while working collaboratively with social workers and partner agencies.

What You Will Do

• Work directly with children, young people, and families using a restorative approach to deliver effective interventions.
• Lead and support Early Help Assessments and plans while working collaboratively with social workers.
• Support children in need, children subject to Child Protection Plans, and children in care.
• Facilitate family meetings, professional meetings, and group sessions.
• Deliver targeted interventions relating to parenting, attachment, behaviour management, conflict resolution, loss and grief, criminal exploitation, and child safety.
• Complete accurate records, reports, and documentation in line with statutory requirements.
• Build effective working relationships with families, carers, and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
• Provide flexible support to children and families where service needs require.
