Experienced Social Worker – Permanence and Assessment & Intervention
£38.00 per hour | 36 hours per week | Inside IR35
Location: Mallory, Wirral Council

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of children and families in either Permanence or Assessment & Intervention

• Carry out comprehensive assessments, formulate outcome-focused care plans, and lead interventions to safeguard and support children

• Complete court reports and contribute to proceedings where required

• Engage with children, young people, and families directly using the Supporting Families, Enhancing Futures model

• Work collaboratively with professionals across the multi-agency network

Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in statutory children’s services

• Skilled in child-centred assessment, care planning, and safeguarding

• Experience with court proceedings and multi-agency working

• Strong communication, organisation, and report writing skills
