We are seeking an experienced Assistant Team Manager to join a well-established Fostering Team in Wrexham. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled social work professional to provide leadership, support, and oversight within a dedicated fostering service. Working alongside a supportive and collaborative management team, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective day-to-day operation of the service while supporting practitioners to achieve positive outcomes for children and carers.

What You Will Do

Team Leadership and Supervision: Provide supervision, guidance, and management oversight to a team of committed social workers.

Practice Support: Offer advice and professional support on complex cases, ensuring high standards of social work practice are maintained.

Service Delivery: Support the effective day-to-day functioning of the Fostering Service, ensuring timely and responsive decision-making.

Fostering Services: Contribute to work involving foster carers, supported lodgings, Special Guardianship Orders, connected persons, and Regulation 26 arrangements.

Management Duty Responsibilities: Participate in the management duty rota, providing leadership and support as required.

Partnership Working: Work collaboratively with colleagues, carers, and partner agencies to promote positive outcomes for children and young people.

Quality Assurance: Support the maintenance of high standards across the service through effective oversight and management involvement.
