Job Description
Job Title: Advanced Practitioner – FAST Team

Type: Temporary / Full Time
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join the FAST Team in Lincolnshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled children’s social work professional to work within a fast-paced frontline service, undertaking assessments and interventions that support positive outcomes for children and families.
Working across Child in Need, Child Protection, and Children in Care cases, you will play a key role in assessing risk, supporting families to achieve sustainable change, and ensuring children remain safe and supported through high-quality social work practice.

What You Will Do
Assessment and Intervention: Undertake comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs, risks, and appropriate support arrangements.
Child in Need, Child Protection and Children in Care Work: Manage and progress cases across a range of statutory services, ensuring children receive timely and effective support.
Specialist Assessments: Complete parenting assessments, risk assessments, sibling assessments, and kinship assessments to inform decision-making and planning.
Care Planning: Develop and implement intervention plans that promote safety, stability, and sustainable change for children and families.
Court Work: Contribute to both public and private law proceedings, preparing high-quality assessments and reports where required.
Duty Responsibilities: Participate in the team’s duty rota, responding to referrals, safeguarding concerns, and urgent situations as they arise.
Multi-Agency Working: Collaborate effectively with families, partner agencies, and professionals to deliver coordinated support and positive outcomes.
Recording and Compliance: Maintain accurate and timely records in line with statutory requirements, legislation, and best practice standards.
