We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join the Family Help Teams in Solihull. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled children’s social care professional to support children and families through assessments, Child in Need, Early Help, and Child Protection planning.

As an Advanced Practitioner, you will contribute to positive outcomes for children while supporting the continued development of a collaborative Family Help model.

What you will do

Family Help Practice: Support children and families through assessments, Child in Need, Early Help, and Child Protection plans.

Advanced Social Work Practice: Provide high-quality social work interventions, using professional judgement to assess needs, manage risk, and improve outcomes.

Direct Family Work: Undertake meaningful direct work with children and families, ensuring their voices and experiences remain central to practice.

Assessment and Planning: Complete robust assessments and develop effective plans that address identified needs and promote positive change.

Multi-Agency Working: Build strong relationships with partner agencies and professionals to coordinate effective support.

Professional Support: Contribute to the development of practice standards and support colleagues within the Family Help service.
