We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join the Family Help Teams in Solihull. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled children’s social care professional to support children and families through assessments, Child in Need, Early Help, and Child Protection planning.

Solihull is developing its social care services and offers a supportive environment focused on high-quality practice, manageable caseloads, and strong professional support. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will contribute to positive outcomes for children while supporting the continued development of a collaborative Family Help model.

What you will do

Family Help Practice: Support children and families through assessments, Child in Need, Early Help, and Child Protection plans.

Direct Family Work: Undertake meaningful direct work with children and families, ensuring their voices and experiences remain central to practice.

Assessment and Planning: Complete robust assessments and develop effective plans that address identified needs and promote positive change.

Multi-Agency Working: Build strong relationships with partner agencies and professionals to coordinate effective support.

Professional Support: Contribute to the development of practice standards and support colleagues within the Family Help service.
