Job Title: Social Worker – Adolescent Safeguarding Team

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join a specialist Adolescent Safeguarding Service in Dudley. This role offers an opportunity to work with teenagers experiencing complex risks, including exploitation, trauma and disrupted relationships.

The service is seeking experienced social workers with strong backgrounds in court work, safeguarding and adolescent risk to support its specialist multi-agency teams.

What you will do

Adolescent Safeguarding: Work with teenagers experiencing complex safeguarding risks, providing effective social work intervention and support.

Exploitation: Support young people affected by exploitation and other complex safeguarding concerns.

Court Work: Apply your experience of court work within complex adolescent safeguarding cases.

Risk Assessment: Work effectively with adolescents experiencing complex risks, ensuring safeguarding remains central to practice.

Trauma-Informed Practice: Work with young people affected by trauma and disrupted relationships, applying appropriate social work approaches.

Multi-Agency Working: Work collaboratively within specialist multi-agency teams to support safeguarding and positive outcomes for young people.

What you will need

• Qualified Social Worker status.
• Strong experience in safeguarding.
• Experience working with adolescents and complex safeguarding risks.
• Experience of court work.
• Experience of working with exploitation.
• Understanding of adolescent risk.
• Experience working with young people affected by trauma and disrupted relationships.
• Ability to work effectively within a multi-agency environment.
