Job Title: Consultant Social Worker – Early Help Hub

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Social Worker to support practice improvement within Early Help Hubs in Liverpool.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner to contribute to the development and improvement of practice across the Early Help Service. The successful candidate will undertake audits of casework completed by Outreach Family Support Workers and Early Help Social Workers, supporting learning, development and continuous practice improvement.

A key focus of the role will be reviewing the child’s lived experience, alongside the quality and impact of practice, and providing meaningful feedback to support individual learning and professional development.

What you will do

Practice Audits

• Undertake audits of casework completed by Outreach Family Support Workers and Early Help Social Workers.
• Review the child’s lived experience as part of the audit process.
• Assess the quality and impact of practice to support continuous improvement across the service.

Practice Development

• Provide individual feedback to support learning and development.
• Support staff to reflect on practice and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Contribute to practice development across the Early Help Service.

Thematic Reporting

• Identify and collate thematic findings from completed audits.
• Prepare audit reports to share key findings across the service.
• Support the use of audit findings to inform learning and practice improvement.
