Type: Full Time / Temporary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join an Adult Social Care service in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner with experience in hospital discharge and safeguarding to support adults and contribute to effective social work practice.

The role is based at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire, with a hybrid working arrangement of three days in the office and two days working from home.

What You Will Do

Hospital Discharge: Use your social work experience to support effective hospital discharge processes.

Safeguarding: Apply your safeguarding experience to identify and respond appropriately to concerns involving adults.

Adult Social Work: Provide professional social work support to adults, working within relevant social care frameworks and professional standards.

Multi-Disciplinary Working: Work effectively with other professionals within the hospital environment to support appropriate outcomes.

Professional Practice: Maintain high standards of social work practice while managing responsibilities within a busy adult social care setting.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Social Worker within Adult Social Care.
  • Experience in hospital discharge is essential.
  • Experience in safeguarding is essential.
  • Ability to work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
  • An Enhanced DBS is required.
  • Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams.
