We are seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker to join a Safeguarding Team within Adult Social Care in Bootle. This is a temporary opportunity for an initial 40-week period, providing an opportunity to contribute to safeguarding practice and support positive outcomes for adults.

What you will do

Safeguarding Practice: Work as part of an Adult Social Care Safeguarding Team, supporting safeguarding work and interventions.

Social Work Practice: Apply professional social work knowledge and skills to assess and respond to the needs of adults.

Case Management: Manage allocated work effectively, maintaining accurate records and ensuring appropriate follow-up.

Multi-Agency Working: Work collaboratively with relevant professionals and partner agencies to support effective safeguarding practice.

Person-Centred Practice: Ensure the needs, wishes and wellbeing of adults remain central to social work practice and decision-making.
